Elon Musk Anticipates Over a Year Without Interventions on FSD as V12.4.1 is Released To Employees

Elon Musk has announced on x the release of Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) version 12.4.1 to employees, a move that signals a significant leap forward in the company’s autonomous driving technology.

The update, which Elon Musk humorously suggests could be called version 13 due to its extensive changes, is set to be released to a select group of external customers if initial feedback is positive.

The FSD 12.4.1 is expected to improve the driving experience by reducing the need for driver interventions.

Musk also teased the development of future versions, 12.5 and 12.6, which are currently in the early stages of testing. These updates could represent even further advancements, potentially earning the monikers of versions 14 and 15.
