Tesla Rolls Out FSD v14.1 With New Driving Features and Parking Options

Tesla has released a new version of its Full Self-Driving software called FSD v14.1, and it comes with several changes that make driving smoother and safer.

One of the biggest updates is the Arrival Options feature. Drivers can now choose where the car should park when it reaches a destination. You can pick from a driveway, parking garage, curbside, street, or parking lot. The car remembers your choice for each location, so you don’t have to set it every time.

Another new feature is the “Sloth” speed mode, which drives slower and chooses safer lanes. It’s designed for people who prefer a calm and careful driving style. Tesla also improved how the car handles roadblocks, emergency vehicles, school buses, and debris like tree branches or tires.

The update also helps the car recover better if something goes wrong. It can now clean its front camera more efficiently and alert the driver if the windshield is dirty and blocking the camera view.

Tesla says this version is based on lessons learned from its robotaxi tests in Texas. While the car still needs a driver to stay alert and ready to take over, FSD v14.1 is a big step toward making driving easier and more comfortable.

Drivers with newer Tesla models are already getting the update. To start using it, they can press the Start Self-Driving button on the screen or use the scroll wheel on the steering wheel.
