Reflecting on a difficult time in his career, Chris Evans Kaweesi recounted an incident that occurred shortly after the release of his song “Rihanna.” He narrated how Dr. Propa invited him to Iganga for a three-day show.
However, the experience turned sour when Evans was left stranded on the streets without transportation back to Kampala.
In a desperate bid to return home, he performed for children at a school event, earning just 800 shillings for his efforts.
The ordeal was so disheartening that Evans considered quitting music altogether. Nevertheless, after some reflection, he chose to persevere, releasing more music and continuing his career.
A decade later, Evans has found it in his heart to forgive Dr. Propa, especially after seeing him in a video clip asking for forgiveness from those he had wronged.
