Azawi voiced her concern about the new version when on a video call interview with NBS after 5 Azawi that features the late Mowzey Radio about its overshadowing of the original version.
She said that people might think that maybe she stole the late Mowzey radio’s song and don’t realize that it’s an AI version which makes it hard to convince Ugandans about AI and what it does.
While asked about the legality of the song she said that she is not so worried and all royalties of the song are paid to her since she owns the right of the original song and she is not bothered.
The person who made the AI version she illiterate that she will have to sit with her lawyers if anything comes up though not worried about it at the moment since the creator is a young man trying to have fun and not after any monetary gains
