GNL Zamba and his wife Miriam Tamar, who are also known as Nsimbi Music, have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Giveon Nile Haviv Nsimbi. The couple shared the good news on Friday, November 3, 2023, through their social media platforms.
According to GNL Zamba, Miriam Tamar delivered their son at 5:00 a.m. in Santa Monica, California, USA, where they are currently based. He said that both the mother and the baby are healthy and happy. He also expressed his gratitude to God and his fans for their prayers and support.
GNL Zamba also revealed the meaning behind their son’s name, which reflects their heritage and aspirations. He said that Giveon means “God is my strength”, Nile means “the river of life”, Haviv means “beloved”, and Nsimbi means “the great one”.
The rapper, who is also the founder of Baboon Forest Entertainment, compared his joy of becoming a father to Simba’s in the Lion King movie.
He said that he felt like his son was elevated by Rafiki overlooking the kingdom on pride rock. He added that his son is the great-great-grandson of Nsimbi Tulye Lupiazitta, the first of his name.
The couple, who got married in 2018, had announced their pregnancy in October with a beach shore photo shoot. They are also known for their musical collaborations, such as the Nsimbi album, which was released in 2018 and featured songs in English, Luganda, Swahili, and French.
