Alien Skin, the Sitya Danger singer, has requested Bobi Wine, the NUP president, to support his upcoming concert for Champion Ogudo, the street child he adopted and made a rapper and a bodyguard.
The concert, dubbed “Twagala Champion Ogudo”, is scheduled to take place on September 23rd at KCCA Lugogo grounds.
Alien Skin said that he wants Bobi Wine to endorse his concert, as he considers him as a role model and a leader of the ghetto youth. He said that he respects Bobi Wine’s vision and mission, and that he hopes to get his blessing for his concert.
"We want to convey to him that we are representing the ghetto youth, just as he champions for the unruly, and our concert is aimed at a noble cause," he told a journalist who asked him about his opinion on Bobi Wine.
The concert is aimed at raising funds for Champion Ogudo’s mother and family, who live in poverty in Kawempe. Alien Skin said that he wants to change the life of his adopted son and his relatives, who have been suffering for a long time.
Champion Ogudo is a talented rapper who has released songs like Jobless Billionaire and Leero. He was discovered by Alien Skin on the streets, where he used to beg for money.
Alien Skin took him under his wing and made him his bodyguard and protégé. He also enrolled him in school and gave him a home.
However, their relationship was strained when MC Kats, a media personality, offered Champion Ogudo a scholarship from Kampala Parents School.
Alien Skin did not want Champion Ogudo to go to school, as he wanted him to focus on his music career. He also had a disagreement with MC Kats over the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
Alien Skin decided to send Champion Ogudo and his brother back to their parents’ home in Kawempe, where they faced harsh conditions.
However, after hearing Champion Ogudo’s father claim that he wanted to take custody of his son, Alien Skin changed his mind and welcomed Champion Ogudo and his brother back to his home.
He announced on his social media platforms that he was going to hold a concert for Champion Ogudo, with the aim of changing the life of his mother and the entire family. He said that the concert was coming soon and that he would reveal more details later.
Alien Skin’s plea to Bobi Wine comes after a recent clash between Bobi Wine’s camp and Fangone Forest, another music group that claims to be superior to Bobi Wine. The conflict erupted over a month ago, when Fangone Forest released a song that dissed Bobi Wine and his supporters.
Alien Skin said that he was not part of the conflict, and that he wants to promote peace and harmony among the artists. He said that he admires Bobi Wine’s courage and resilience, and that he wishes to collaborate with him in the future.
