Burna Boy, the Nigerian superstar, might be the main act at the grand opening of the new Nakivubo Stadium, which is being built by tycoon Hamis Kiggundu, also known as Ham.
The rumors are that Hamis is ready to pay Burna Boy’s performance fee of $700,000, which is about Ugx 2.6 billion.
The stadium, which is a state-of-the-art facility, is almost complete and will soon be open for events, according to the photos shared by Hamis Kiggundu.
The exact dates for the opening have not been revealed yet, but many fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement.
This will be Burna Boy’s third time to perform in Uganda if the rumors are true. He first came in 2013 at Namboole Stadium during the Club Mega Fest and then in 2019 at Sheraton Gardens. He is known for his hit songs like Ye, On the Low, and Anybody.
