Frank Gashumba, a social political affairs commentator and businessman, has claimed that Bobi Wine, the NUP leader, is not an indigenous Ugandan but a Burundian.
Gashumba said that he has evidence to prove his allegations and that he will reveal it if Bobi Wine continues to campaign against other tribes.
He made some controversial remarks a few days ago on his nationwide tour, which angered many people, especially the Muvandimwe. Gashumba, who is a Muvandimwe himself, feels that they are being targeted by Bobi Wine and his supporters.
Gashumba has been vocal in countering Bobi Wine’s statements and challenging his credibility.
He said that Bobi Wine should not preach tribalism when he himself is not a native of Uganda. He also questioned Bobi Wine’s academic qualifications and political agenda.
