Sheebah Karungi, a popular musician, has revealed that she has no plans to get married and that she does not believe in marriage.
She said that she wants to have children with someone who shares her views on marriage and who is willing to live separately from her. She said that she prefers a relationship where they only visit each other occasionally.
“I will never get married, but I am planning to have children with someone who is like me—someone who doesn’t care about marriage and is ready to live in a different house from mine. We will only visit each other,” she said in an interview with Spark TV’s Ruth Kalibaala.
Sheebah also said that marriage is a personal choice and that she does not agree with the idea that it is a divine mandate as suggested in the Bible.
Sheebah Karungi is one of the most successful female artists in Uganda, known for her songs like “Nakyuka”, “Ninda” and “Ekyama”.
