Singer Jowy Landa, whose real name is Joan Namugerwa, has shared her experience of being managed by fellow singer Pallaso, recalling how he prohibited her from engaging in sexual relations during their time working together.
Throughout her music journey, Jowy Landa collaborated with various music managers, including her fellow artist Pallaso.
However, being under Pallaso’s management posed certain difficulties, one of which involved refraining from sexual activities for reasons that were known primarily to Pallaso, the head of Team Good Music.
During a conversation with radio hosts Jenkins Mukasa and Bat Badru, Landa narrated her experience. She disclosed that Pallaso provided her with a luxurious apartment in Munyonyo and even arranged for a house assistant to help her manage her responsibilities.
Nonetheless, Pallaso introduced strict regulations that created a rather uncomfortable management environment.
Jowy Landa reminisced about a past romantic involvement with a male musician, which unfortunately did not progress smoothly due to her inability to spend private time with him. Pallaso strongly objected to such interactions.
At present, the management of Landa is under the responsibility of Deejay Roger from the Slick Stuart and Roger Deejaying team, resulting in a seamless and well-functioning arrangement.
