Sheebah Karungi, a famous Ugandan singer and dancer, stormed out of a press conference on Monday, August 21, 2023, leaving her fans and the media in shock.
She was supposed to announce her musical battle with Cindy Sanyu, another renowned Ugandan singer, at the Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala.
However, things did not go as planned. Sheebah seemed to be uncomfortable and annoyed by Cindy’s comments and attitude.
She accused Cindy of being disrespectful and arrogant, and said that she did not want to waste her time with her.
She then abruptly left the stage, without waiting for the official end of the press conference.
Cindy Sanyu was left alone on the stage, looking surprised and confused. She tried to explain that she did not mean to offend Sheebah, and that she was just being honest and confident.
She said that that’s how Sheebah would run from the battle on September 15th after being defeated and urged fans to come in large numbers to witness the ‘king herself’ (the name Cindy calls herself) take it home.
