Alien Skin, the singer behind the hit song “Sitya Danger”, has announced that he will hold his Nkwacho festival at One Love Beach Busabala on a date that he will reveal soon.

This comes after he cancelled the festival that was supposed to take place at Forest Park Buloba on August 27, due to a disagreement with promoter Abtex.

According to Alien Skin, real name Patrick Mulwana, Abtex failed to fulfill the agreement they had made for the festival, which involved paying him a certain amount of money before the event.

Alien Skin claimed that Abtex only paid him a deposit and then started giving excuses when he asked for the balance.

He also accused Abtex of hijacking his plans to organize the festival at Lubiri Mengo and taking it to Buloba Forest Park without his consent.

Abtex, however, denied the allegations and said that he had paid Alien Skin Shs10m for the festival and that he was willing to clear the balance on the day of the event.

He also said that he had invested a lot of money in advertising and preparing for the festival and that he was surprised by Alien Skin’s decision to cancel it.

He said that Alien Skin was being ungrateful and disrespectful to him, as he had helped him to elevate his career by organizing his first concert at Freedom City.

The two parties have been exchanging words on social media and in interviews, with Abtex threatening to sue Alien Skin for financial loss and to unite all promoters to fail him.

Alien Skin, on the other hand, has advised Abtex to stick to organizing Enkuuka festival, which he does every year on New Year’s Eve, and to leave Nkwacho festival alone.

He said that he has the capacity to organize his own show and that he does not need Abtex’s money or influence.

Alien Skin took to Twitter on Wednesday and confirmed that he will hold his Nkwacho festival at Busabala, which is owned by fellow singer Bobi Wine. He said that he will be sharing the details soon and thanked his fans for their support.
