Uganda’s music industry is in a state of confusion as King Saha claims to be the President of all musicians, despite Cindy being the official head of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).
King Saha, who is a musician himself, said in a recent interview with a local TV station that he had actually won the UMA elections, but his victory was overturned by some influential people he called “mafias”.
He said that he was still determined to get back his rightful position, and that he had the support of most musicians in the country.
“I was elected as the UMA President by the musicians, but the mafia intervened and nullified my win. However, I am not giving up on my role, and I know that musicians acknowledge me as their President. I am working hard to restore my authority,” he declared.
He also revealed that he did not trust Kenzo’s federation.
