The musical rivalry between Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu is heating up as the two singers are both eyeing the same venue and date for their upcoming events.
Sheebah, who recently announced her intention to hold a music festival dubbed ‘YOLO Festival’ on September 15th at Kololo Airstrip, has challenged Cindy to show proof that she paid for the same venue.
Cindy, who is planning to stage her ‘Comeback’ concert on the same day and place, had earlier claimed that Sheebah had not yet booked the venue and that she was free to use it.
However, Sheebah has dismissed Cindy’s claims and dared her to show her booking receipt. She also accused Cindy of trying to sabotage her event and create unnecessary drama.
Sheebah took to her social media platforms to share her frustration with Cindy and urged her fans to support her festival, which she said will be celebrating the whole entertainment industry in Uganda.
Cindy has not yet responded to Sheebah’s call for proof, but she has also been promoting her concert on her social media platforms and promising her fans a memorable performance.
The two singers have been at loggerheads since 2019, when Cindy called out Sheebah for not being able to perform live on stage. Sheebah retaliated by challenging Cindy to a musical battle, which Cindy accepted.
Now, it seems that the two singers are set for a showdown over Kololo venue and date, which will determine who is the queen of the stage and who is the queen of the mic.
