VIDEO: Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira Break Their Silence on Being Gay: What They Said Will Surprise You

Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira, the Ugandan-Canadian singing duo who rose to fame after winning the first season of East Africa’s Got Talent in 2019, have come out to clear the air about their sexuality.

The pair, who are siblings, have been facing allegations of being gay, following their mother Julie Birungi’s decision to marry a woman after relocating to Canada.

In a video that they posted on their TikTok account, Esther and Ezekiel said that they are not gay and that they are straight.

They also said that they are Born Again Christians and that they love God.

They asked people to stop jumping to conclusions and respect their choices.

Esther and Ezekiel recently participated in Canada’s Got Talent, where they impressed the judges and the audience with their rendition of Jordin Sparks’ “No Air”.

They described their mother, who was present at the auditions, as their music teacher.
