Singer Musigazi Abdul Aziz has revealed the difficult conditions he grew up in.
According to the ‘Risk’ singer, after his father’s death, things became even worse. His mother sold his father’s belongings and they had to move to her bar.
At that point, he had to share a bed with his mother until he reached puberty and adolescence.
As he started experiencing wet dreams, he felt uncomfortable sharing a bed with his mother. So, he began sleeping at his friend’s places instead.
However, it wasn’t always easy for him. Whenever his friends had their girlfriends over for sleepovers, he had to leave the house.
Living conditions were overcrowded, and he often had to run away to avoid being mistaken for a thief if the police showed up. He lived in fear of being rounded up with others.
But now, Vyroota, as he is known, finally has a place he can call his home.
