Leilah Kayondo has taken a swipe at fellow singer Alien Skin, who is known for his hit song “Party”.
Leilah Kayondo posted a TikTok video, where she tried to mimic the lyrics of “Party”, which are mostly in Luganda.
In the video, Leilah Kayondo exaggerated the pronunciation and accent of Alien Skin, and made funny gestures and facial expressions.
She captioned the video, “Wabula tumanyidwa ate nga tuwuliriza”, which means “We’ve been fed with trash yet we still listen”.
The video has received over thousands of views and hundreds of comments, with some fans laughing along with Leilah Kayondo, and others defending Alien Skin and his music.
Shanita Namuyimbwa, also known as Bad Black, has come to the rescue of Alien Skin, and has threatened to beat up Leilah Kayondo for mocking his music.
She also warned Leilah Kayondo that she would make her sick again, referring to her past health issues.
Alien Skin himself has not responded to Leilah Kayondo’s video yet, but he has previously said that he is proud of his music and style, and that he does not care about what people say about him.
It is not clear why Leilah Kayondo decided to mock Alien Skin’s music, or whether it was just a friendly joke or a serious shade.
