Socialite and former jailbird Bad Black has launched a scathing attack on the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), saying that it is a useless and irrelevant association that does nothing for the artists.
Bad Black, who once released a song called Mudguard, said that the only hope for the music industry is Bobi Wine, the leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and a renowned musician.
She said that Bobi Wine’s name is a password that gives access to the government’s handouts to artists who are relevant and talented.
She said that Bobi Wine’s name is a must-have in any proposal or request to the government, otherwise, it will be rejected.
“Without Bobi Wine, there’s no industry. There’s strength in that name giving irrelevant people the password to get money from the Government. If you don’t include Bobi Wine’s name in the proposal, it might be bounced,” she said.
