Singer Eddy Kenzo has exposed the hidden agenda behind the rival concerts of Alien Skin and Pallaso that were held on the same day at Freedom City and Kyadondo Rugby Grounds respectively.

According to Kenzo, the two concerts were orchestrated by events promoters Abitex and Balaam Barugahara, who wanted to cash in on the bad blood between Alien Skin and Pallaso.

Kenzo revealed that he tried to mediate between the two singers after Pallaso assaulted Alien Skin over a song.

However, he failed to reach out to Alien Skin, who had already teamed up with Abitex to stage a show at Freedom City.

Kenzo said he contacted the Uganda Promoter’s Association to intervene and stop the clash of concerts. He said he was shocked to learn that Abitex and Balaam had planned to use the feud as a marketing strategy.

He said he confronted Abitex and Balaam on a conference call, but Balaam hung up after Abitex admitted their scheme. Kenzo said he was disappointed by their actions and decided not to endorse either of the concerts.

It should be noted that only Pallaso’s Love Fest Concert got Eddy Kenzo’s endorsement, which raised many eyebrows in the music scene.
