Singer Joseph Mayanja, known as Jose Chameleone, has challenged fellow musician and National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine to a music battle.
The challenge comes after a series of verbal exchanges between the two musicians, each claiming to be better than the other.
Bobi Wine recently held a press conference where he boasted of being superior to Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleon in terms of music, finances, and academics.
However, Chameleone dismissed Bobi Wine’s claims, stating that the music industry has evolved and that he should focus on creating fresh music.
Chameleone suggested that Bobi Wine, along with other artists, should engage in a year-long competition of creating new music, after which the public will decide who the best musician in Uganda is.
He emphasized that ranking oneself is not an effective way of determining one’s musical prowess.
