Omega 256, a popular Ugandan singer, has joined the growing list of musicians who are unhappy with Bobi Wine’s approach to the issue of copyright laws.
She has accused the NUP leader of being ineffective and confrontational and urged him to work with the government instead.
Bobi Wine, who is also a musician and a former MP, has been vocal about the need for comprehensive and fair laws that protect the rights and royalties of Ugandan artists.
However, his views have not been well received by some of his colleagues in the music industry, such as Eddy Kenzo, Ykee Benda, Sheebah, and others.
Omega 256 has expressed her disappointment in Bobi Wine, saying that he did not do enough for the music industry when he was in Parliament. She also said that he should not attack other musicians who are trying to secure their rights by collaborating with the current government.
