Haruna Mawa takes over as Head coach for Arua-based football club Oduparaka FC.

This is right after the former coach, George Lutalo, quit his job with the team due to poor performance. Last season, he led the team to a 10th-place finish.

 

The team announced that the tactician would take charge of the Arua-based squad for a single season.

 

In addition to Victoria University, Mawa has coached the Somalia National Squad, the Uganda U-20 team, and Dove All Stars, presently known as Arua Hill SC.

 

Onduparaka Football Club wishes to share the appointment of a CAF A Certified Coach. 

Haruna Mawa takes over as Head coach of Onduparaka with a one-year contract that is renewable.

 

 

He has managed teams in the past, including the defunct SC Victoria University, the Doves All Stars, the Somalia National Team, the Uganda U20, the KCCA FC Junior Team, and more. Statement from the club read.
